Matthew McCormick Studio - A Shared Language of Light

An evolving conversation of light, form, and material

Across multiple collaborations with Matthew McCormick Studio, we’ve explored how light, tone, and craftsmanship converge through film and photography. Each project reveals a different facet of the studio’s evolving dialogue between structure and feeling. From intimate stories of family and design to atmospheric studies abroad, these works form a continuous reflection on clarity, material, and human warmth.

OVA IN COLOUR

BEN LAMP

Memory, gesture, and object.

Rooted in a story of father and son, the Ben Lamp merges narrative and design. We created a short film and illustrated storybook that transformed product documentation into a portrait of balance and connection. The lamp became a vessel for remembering, shaped by ritual, inspired by love.

MILAN PHOTO SERIES

Light rediscovered in forgotten places

Beyond the Milan Design Week gallery, we carried OVA Amber into the city’s edges. The photo series placed the pendant within textured, timeworn spaces, observing how light behaves when modern design enters places shaped by memory and decay.

OVA AMBER

Tone introduced, clarity preserved in light and glass.

Introducing colour into a collection defined by restraint required precision. We composed a film and photography series that revealed warmth without compromising form. Amber moved through the layered glass with presence and stillness, honouring the clarity that defines the OVA line.
