Milan Design Week — Matthew McCormick Studio

Light held within architecture, rhythm, and human scale.

Overview

At Galleria Rossana Orlandi, we documented the global debut of OVA Amber. Rather than showcase the pendant, we observed how it lived within the vaulted gallery, responding to architecture, audience, and atmosphere.

What We Made

+ Short film for event documentation and digital use
+ Photography suite from the gallery environment

Approach

We let the room shape the frame. Light moved across glass, stone, and shadow. The camera lingered, allowing the piece to settle into its surroundings. Rather than follow the object, we followed its effect.

Outcomes

+ Supported the international launch of OVA Amber

+ Extended the visual narrative beyond form into experience
