Design Unlocked — Shift Interiors
Domestic Rituals
A Home Designed to Settle You
Shift Interiors approaches residential design with restraint, clarity, and emotional intention. In this episode of Design Unlocked, we visit Edgemont House, a family home shaped around feeling first, where calm, adaptability, and daily life coexist with quiet precision.
Led by Jamie Deck, the project reflects a thoughtful balance between openness and retreat. Light, wood, and natural materiality ground each space, allowing the home to settle rather than impress. The result is an environment that supports family life as it unfolds, adaptable, restorative, and quietly composed.
Our role was to observe and capture that intention. To let the spaces speak through light and material, and to allow the photography to serve the home as it is lived in, not staged.
